How to add a GoFundMe Link
Updated over a week ago

We understand the need to raise money and share fundraisers that our creators are passionate about. To help with this, we have created a GoFundMe link detection. This link detection will allow Linkers to easily link and display their GoFundMe fundraiser page directly on their Linktree to help them raise money and spread the word for causes that are important to them.

Steps:

  1. In your Linktree Admin, hit the + Add link button.

  2. Enter your GoFundMe URL.
    Example: https://www.gofundme.com/f/fundraiser-title

  3. Tap Add.

💡 Tip: You can also tap the magnifying glass 🔍 to open Search Link Apps, and search for GoFundMe.

  4. Give your link a Title.

  5. Copy/paste the GoFundMe URL into the URL field below your title.

🔔 Note: Only a specific fundraiser URL can be pasted to trigger the link detection. The link detection won't trigger if you paste a Cause page that offers different fundraisers on GoFundMe.

  6. A new GoFundMe thumbnail will appear below your URL.

  7. Choose how to display your link by selecting either Display this content on my Linktree or Go directly to URL.

What your visitors will see

Once you've added your GoFundMe link, depending on which option you have selected in the Linktree Admin, your visitors will either be taken directly to your GoFundMe page or they can hit Donate now in the GoFundMe link that's displayed on your Linktree.

Once they hit 'Donate now', a new tab will appear in their browser that takes them directly to the page where they can add their donation and continue to pay to your cause.
