The Payment Lock on a link allows visitors to purchase a link to view exclusive content from their favorite creators. As a visitor, the link will be unlocked once you’ve paid for the link. You can choose to pay via PayPal or use your credit or debit card to pay and gain access to the link.
Once you've paid, the link will be unlocked for you to view the content directly on the creator’s Linktree and an email will also be sent to your email address so that you can find and view the link whenever you want.
How to pay for a locked link
All you’ll need to do is:
Select the link on the Linktree.
Hit the Pay button.
Follow the prompts to complete your purchase.
If you’ve already paid for the link, check your email to find the receipt for the link you’ve purchased.
💡 Tip: If you’re having trouble finding the link in your email, check your spam, junk, promotional, or any other alternative folders. You can also search “Linktree” or the creator’s username in your inbox.
I just purchased a link but the content isn't what I expected, can I get a refund?
The Payment Lock is managed by the creator and their payment provider. Our Support team doesn’t have the ability to give you a refund. Instead, try and contact the creator directly or check your other options if you paid via PayPal or Square.
What happens if the creator deletes the link that I purchased?
In a case where you have paid for a link and a creator later deletes the link from their Linktree, you can still access the link by finding it in your email inbox.
