I can't log in to my account. What should I do?

Follow these troubleshooting steps if you're having trouble accessing your Linktree account.

Having trouble accessing your Linktree? We get it; it can be frustrating. Before diving deeper, here’s a simple checklist to rule out the most common login issues.


Troubleshooting steps

1️⃣ Log in through the Linktree website

Make sure you're in the right spot. You can log in to your account at linktr.ee/login

💡 Tip: To start fresh, make sure you're logged out by visiting linktr.ee/logout first.

2️⃣ Use the same login method you signed up with

Check that you're using the correct method to log in. Here are the different options available:

📝 Note: You’ll need to use the same method you chose when you first created your account.

3️⃣ Double-check your login details

Be sure to check the spelling of your username or email address when entering it.

💡 Tip: Your Linktree username is the last part of your URL.
Example: linktr.ee/yourusername

Use our forgot username tool if you need some help finding it.

4️⃣ Reset your password

If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it using the Forgot Password tool. We’ll send a reset link to your email—be sure to check your spam or junk folder just in case.

📝 Note: If you don’t have access to the email address linked to your account, we’ll need to go through an account recovery process for security reasons. Read more in this help article.

5️⃣ Try a different browser or device

If something still seems off, try:

  • Using a different browser

  • Switching devices

  • Logging in through the Linktree app


How to log in with your Username or Email

  1. Enter your username or email.

  2. Tap Continue.

  3. You will be asked to enter a password, or a code which is sent to your account email address

  4. Enter your password or the 6 digit code that was sent to your email and tap Submit.


How to log in with your Google account or Apple ID

  1. On the Linktree login page, tap "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple."

  2. Enter the email address or phone number associated with your Google or Apple account, and continue with the log in process.

  3. When you're finished, you'll be taken back to your Linktree admin.

💡 Tip: Head to the Apple or Google help center if you get stuck.
