SMS marketing is one of the most effective ways to engage your audience. You can collect phone numbers from your Linktree visitors using a Contact Form—a simple way to grow your SMS subscriber list and keep in touch via text.
Add a Contact Form to collect phone numbers
In your Linktree Admin, go to the Links page under My Linktree.
Tap the + Add button.
Search for Contact Form and tap Add.
Add a Title for your link (e.g., “Subscribe to my newsletter”).
Choose Blank Form or start with a template.
Tap Add question to customize your form, or edit existing fields:
Use the Label to specify your question (e.g., “What’s your phone number?”).
Choose a Field Type like phone, name, or dropdown.
Check the Required box for any must-fill fields.
Tap Save after each question and once you're done.
Optional:
Add an Introduction at the top of your form.
Customize the Thank You Message visitors see after submitting.
Toggle on Custom T&Cs to link to your own terms and conditions.
🔒 Available on Pro and Premium plans
Tap Done to publish your form to your Linktree.
Sync phone numbers to Google Sheets
If you want to automatically store submitted phone numbers in a Google Sheet:
In your Linktree Admin, open the Audience page.
Go to the Integrations tab.
Click Connect under Google Sheets.
Click Authorize Google Sheets and follow the prompt to sign in.
Paste the URL of the Google Sheet where you want your contacts stored.
📝 Note: Make sure the Google Sheet was created using the same Google Account you authorized in Linktree.
Export phone numbers
Even if you’re not using integrations, you can still manage your phone number list by downloading it as a CSV file.
In the Integrations tab, select Export CSV.
Set a passcode to protect your download.
Click Export CSV to receive an email with your file.
📝 Note: The file will open in Excel, Google Sheets, or your preferred spreadsheet tool.
Get notified about new sign-ups
You can get email alerts every time someone fills out your form.
Go to the Settings tab in the Audience page on your Linktree admin.
Toggle on Get email notifications.
Tap the pencil icon to change the recipient email, if needed.
💡 Tip: If you're not seeing notifications, check your spam or promotions folder and mark them as “not spam.”
