Understanding Relationships in Liscio
Relationships in Liscio connect Contacts to Accounts, making it easy to manage who is associated with what. Once a Relationship is created, the Contact will appear under the Contacts tab in the Account, and the Account will show under the Accounts tab in the Contact.
Why Relationships Matter
Help organize which Contacts are tied to which Accounts.
Allow multiple people to upload or access information specific to each Account.
Keep sensitive data private by Account—for example:
Jane Doe can be linked to both her flower business Account and her personal tax return Account.
Her business manager can be linked only to the business Account and will not see anything related to Jane’s personal Account.
Key Points:
Relationship Types (like Owner, Billing Contact, Manager) describe the Contact’s role with the Account.
You can add Relationships from either the Contact or Account view.
Note: Relationship Types do not determine what the Contact can view or edit—permissions are managed separately.
