Accounts = Client Profiles

The Accounts page holds all relevant information about a business or individual client, including:

  • Company name (for businesses) or 1040 name (for individuals)

  • Contact and demographic details

  • EINs or SSNs

  • Taxpayer information

  • And more

Note: Clients can be businesses (e.g., XYZ Company) or individuals (e.g., James & Sarah Adams).

Contacts = People Associated with the Account

Contacts are the individuals connected to an Account who provide information or documentation related to the services being delivered.

  • A unique primary email address (required for platform access)

  • Personal details like email, phone number, and address

  • A link to their associated Account(s), such as a business or 1040

Note: A Contact can be linked to multiple Accounts but only needs one primary email address.
