Editing Requests & Request Templates

Requests and Request Templates can be edited based on your needs. Whether you're customizing a single Request or managing templates, we've got you covered.

Edit a Request Created from a Template

Customize a Request before sending it, without changing the original template.

  1. Go to the Requests page.

  2. Select +Request.

  3. Choose a template to use.

  4. Select the Send Icon.

  5. Select Edit Request.

  6. Make changes:

    • Edit question text.

    • Add or remove questions.

    • Delete sections or add new ones at the end.

  7. Select Preview and Send.

Note: Moving questions between sections is not currently supported.

Edit a Request Template

Make permanent changes to an existing template or create a new one based on a system template.

  1. Go to the Requests page.

  2. Select +Request.

  3. Choose a template to use.

  4. Select the Edit Icon.

  5. Make changes:

    • Edit question text.

    • Add, remove, or rearrange sections.

    • Add or remove questions.

  6. Choose how to save:

    • Click Save Changes to update the existing template.

    • Click Save as new template to create a new version and keep the original unchanged.

Edit Responses on a Sent Request

Collaborate with clients by updating answers on their behalf after a Request has been sent.

  1. Open the Request you want to edit.

  2. Select Change Responses.

  3. Update Yes/No questions, short answers, or upload files.

  4. Select Save Responses.

Note: You can only edit responses. Questions cannot be changed or removed in a sent request.
