Exporting Request Answers and Documents

Requests simplify client interactions for onboarding, monthly close checklists, tax questionnaires, organizers, and return delivery.

All documents and responses submitted through a request can be exported at any time as a ZIP file. The export includes a complete PDF with all answers, along with labeled and numbered files in the requested order.

There’s no need to wait for a client to submit—export the information whenever you need it!

Exporting Answers (Print PDF)

  1. From the Requests page, navigate to the tab where the Request is located:

    • Open Requests – Requests received but not yet submitted by the client.

    • Pending Review Requests – Requests submitted by the client.

    • Archived Requests – Requests marked complete by a firm user.

  2. Select the Request you want to export.

  3. Select the ellipsis (three dots) in the upper-right corner.

  4. Select Print PDF.

  5. A new window will open with the Request formatted for export.

  6. In the new window:

    • To Download, select the Download icon and choose where to save the PDF.

    • To Print, select the Printer icon and choose your printer.

Exporting Documents & the PDF (Export Zip)

Note: Draft Requests cannot be exported.

  1. From the Requests page, navigate to the correct tab:

    • Open Requests – Requests received but not yet submitted by the client.

    • Pending Review Requests – Requests the client has marked as completed.

    • Archived Requests – Requests marked complete by a firm user.

  2. Select the Request you wish to export.

  3. Select the ellipsis (three dots) in the upper-right corner.

  4. Select Export Zip.

  5. A notification titled "Exported Request ZIP package ready for download" will be sent when the export is completed.
