Liscio lets you add a firm user's name and signature to Engagement Letters and Consent to Release forms sent through Get a Signature tasks.

If your firm doesn’t include signatures on these forms, you can skip this.

But if you do, here’s how to give Signing Authority to specific users so they can be selected as the Partner when creating a Get a Signature task.

If you’re a Firm Admin, you can give Signing Authority to yourself or to other Firm Admins.

To grant signing authority:

  1. Select the ellipses (three dots) in the Left-Hand Menu.

  2. Select AdminUsers.

  3. Select the employee record.

  4. Select the Edit Employee in the top-right.

  5. Select the Signing Authority box.

  6. Select Update.

You will now see this Firm Administrator as an option to select for 'Partner' when sending an engagement letter.
