Once you have added the FormDefender code to your page and set it live, you will want to test it to make sure the code was added properly. To test follow these directions:
Step 1:
Make sure all the fields on your form that are required are filled out
Step 2:
Fill out the email field last. When testing use an email address similar to (Testing3876498$@gmail.com)
Step 3:
If the notification below does not pop-up on your form as you are testing, FormDefender is not working on your page. Proceed to Step 4. If you see this pop-up below, FormDefender is working and you can close out your test! You are ready to roll!
Step 4:
If you do not get a pop-up box on your form, the first thing you will want to do is make sure our script is loaded on the page. To do this follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Inspect Your Form
Right-click on your form and select Inspect.
Click on the Console tab at the top of the inspection window.
Use the Find feature by pressing CTRL + F and search for "fd" or "fdloaded".
Step 2: Analyze the Results
If no results appear: This indicates that our script is not present on your page. To resolve this, copy the FormDefender code again and reinsert it into your page.
If a RED error message appears: This suggests an issue with the script. Please use the chat feature to contact customer support and provide the exact error message displayed.
If "true," WHITE code, or "keap-form-defender" appears: This confirms that our script is loaded, but another issue is preventing the pop-up box from appearing. In this case, use the chat feature to reach out to customer support and report the displayed code and message.
