If your Red, Yellow, or Green tag counts in your EMP (like Keap or GHL) don’t match what you see in ListDefender, that’s expected in many cases. Here’s why:
📊 Your Dashboard Reflects a Snapshot in Time
The tag totals shown on your ListDefender dashboard under "Latest Scan" are based only on the most recent scan. They reflect contact status at the moment the scan ran.
Important:
If a contact is added, deleted, or opts in/out after that scan, it won’t be reflected in your dashboard totals until a new scan completes.
✅ Green & Yellow Tags May Not Always Match
Green and Yellow tag counts between your EMP and ListDefender can differ due to:
New contacts being added or removed since the last scan
A scan not yet having updated recent activity
These differences are normal and should align more closely after the next full scan.
❌ Red Tags Often Don’t Match (But Sometimes Can)
Your EMP may show more Red-tagged contacts than ListDefender. Here's why:
ListDefender only scans marketable (opted-in) contacts.
Opted-out contacts are excluded from scans and therefore don’t count toward Red tag totals on the dashboard.
However, LD does still apply a Red tag to opted-out contacts if identified during sync.
That said, if your system has no opted-out contacts, then the Red tag counts can match between EMP and ListDefender.
🧭 How to View Current Tag Totals in ListDefender
To see the latest scan results by tag color:
Go to the Contacts section in ListDefender (Left side menu)
Click the Filter button (center of page on the right side)
Use the "Latest Scan Results" dropdown to filter by Green, Yellow, or Red
📝 Final Tips
Dashboard totals = summary of most recent scan only
EMP totals = live and constantly updating
Opt-in/opt-out status can change anytime, but changes won’t appear in LD until the next scan
Red tags often differ unless all contacts are opted in
