New Feature: Default Email Engagement Profiles in ListDefender

Choose from default engagement profiles or create custom settings to improve deliverability and email performance.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

We’ve added Default Email Engagement Profiles to make it easier to set up best practices for tracking engagement and maintaining deliverability.

Instead of starting from scratch, you can now select one of our pre-built profiles — or create your own custom settings.

Available Profiles

1. Building Engagement (For beginners or those looking to improve practices)
Choose this if you:

  • Don’t have serious deliverability issues

  • Aren’t sure how to boost engagement

  • Send emails infrequently or irregularly

Settings applied:

  • Engagement tracking: Clicks + Opens

  • Re-engage: After 60 days of no engagement

  • Do Not Send: After 365 days of no engagement

2. Optimize Performance (For solid practices, looking to fine-tune)
Choose this if you:

  • Don’t have serious deliverability issues

  • Send emails regularly

  • Encourage engagement, especially through links

Settings applied:

  • Engagement tracking: Clicks only

  • Re-engage: After 45 days of no engagement

  • Do Not Send: After 150 days of no engagement

3. Emergency Deliverability Fix (For urgent deliverability issues)
Choose this if you:

  • Are experiencing deliverability problems

  • Have received warnings from your ESP

  • Need corrective action immediately

Settings applied:

  • Engagement tracking: Clicks only

  • Re-engage: After 30 days of no engagement

  • Do Not Send: After 120 days of no engagement

4. Custom Settings
If none of the default profiles fit your situation, you can create your own rules by customizing engagement tracking, re-engagement timing, and do-not-send windows.
