Edit a Scheduled Message

Learn how to edit the content of your scheduled message before it is sent.

You can modify the content and settings of scheduled messages at any time before it begins sending. The changes you make will go into effect with the next occurrence of the scheduled message send (if a recurring message.

You can edit any properties of a message including subject line, message content, and filters.

⚠️ Filters cannot be edited on a multipass message. This message will be indicated with an mp icon.


Updating Message Properties

  1. Navigate to Messages > Email View Scheduled Email.

  2. To change the scheduled time of a message:

    1. Click on the clock icon.

    2. In the popup, use the calendar and clock icon to select a new date and time.

    3. If desired, update the time zone that will be used to determine the time.

    4. Click Update.

  3. To edit the content of the message:

    ⚠️ These changes will only be made to the scheduled message. Changes will not be made to the saved version (if applicable).

    1. Click on the subject line of the message.

    2. In the message editing experience, change the aspects of the message such as the subject line or an image.

    3. At the bottom of the message, click Update Scheduled Message.

  4. To edit the filter used in a message:

    ⚠️ Filters can not be changed in a multipass message.

    1. Click on the subject line of the message.

    2. In the message editing experience, change the filter criteria.

    3. At the bottom of the message, click Update Scheduled Message.

Stop a Message from Sending: How to Unschedule a Message

Unscheduling a message will only impact the version of a message that is scheduled. If you have a saved version of the message you can return to the saved version and re-schedule at any time.

  1. Unscheduling a one-time message:

    1. Navigate to Messages > Email View Scheduled Email.

    2. Click on the trash can icon next to the desired message.

    3. Confirm the deletion.

  2. Temporarily Pausing a recurring message:

    1. Navigate to Messages > Email View Scheduled Email.

    2. Click on the clock icon next to the desired message.

    3. Toggle the active toggle to the off position.

    4. Click Update.

      💡 Toggle the active toggle back to the on position to resume sending a recurring message at the next applicable time.

  3. Cancel a recurring message:

    1. Navigate to Messages > Email View Scheduled Email.

    2. Click on the trash can icon next to the desired message.

    3. Confirm the deletion.
