You can easily add data to the contact profile for an entire group of contacts by using the Add/Update Profile function. This function can be accessed anywhere you see the people icon at the top of the screen. This includes the View > Subscribed Contacts screen, the Message Analytics Report, or in you Conductor analytics.

On many reports you will also see an Edit Filter button that allows you to narrow down the group of contacts based on filter criteria such as purchases and email engagement. You can use this function to limit the contacts who will have new profile data added into their profile.

When adding data you will need to identify a profile field group and profile field to fill with the specific data. You can create new field groups and new fields or use existing field groups and fields.

⚠️ If you select a field that already contains data the existing data will be overwritten.

You can find your current field groups and fields under Contacts > Email Contacts Profile Fields. Follow one of the guides below based on if you are creating or re-using field groups and fields.
