This setup guide walks through the necessary parts of setting up a loyalty campaign: creating a loyalty list for triggered campaigns, creating subscription points for loyalty signups, and connecting your loyalty provider to Listrak to receive loyalty data.

If you are already working with a Listrak onboarding team for list setup, import, and subscription points, you may skip the steps that have already been completed.

List Setup

First, set up a loyalty-specific list that contains all automated messages associated with your loyalty campaign.

  1. Navigate to Contacts > Email Contacts List Manager.

  2. Click New List.

  3. Enter a List Name. For example, Loyalty.

  4. Add the list to your automated campaigns folder. If you do not have an automated campaigns folder, create one here.

  5. Click Create.

Sign Up Subscription Points

The next step is to be sure you're adding subscribers to your loyalty list upon subscription. Loyalty program signups can be done by: a dedicated signup page, account signup, checkout page opt-in, or as a part of your popup acquisition strategy.

Import Existing Loyalty Members

If you're currently integrated with a loyalty provider, you must import your current list of loyalty subscribers to Listrak.

Please follow this step-by-step guide to import contacts.

⚠️ Be sure to import your contacts to the loyalty list that you've previously created.

Data Activation

Lastly, set up your loyalty partner integration. Follow the below guide that's applicable to your provider.

Automated Campaign Setup

After you've completed the above sections, use your loyalty data to create loyalty specific campaigns such as a Welcome Series, Re-engagement, points expiration reminder, a monthly point balance, or a loyalty tier change.
