Are there any warranties, returns, or refund policies for battery packs?

All battery packs are unique, so we must evaluate the warranty on a case-by-case basis. This is not a comprehensive legal document, it is a brief guide to our warranty. For more detailed information, see this page on our warranty

Warranty summary

Period

Typical battery packs have a warranty period of 365 days.

Step 1: Analyze

To evaluate what went wrong, we need comprehensive data including the following when applicable:

  1. Video

  2. Photographs

  3. Reports (like performance, environmental and operating conditions, etc.)

Step 2: Solve

If something went wrong, we have the following options:

  1. Send materials for self-repair

  2. Contract local repair service

  3. Send replacement

Remarks

  • We will not replace batteries that were misused.

  • Never send us any goods directly.  Not only could this violate shipping regulations, but often producing a replacement is less expensive.

  • Avoid under-voltage conditions by charging packs/cells after receiving them.

  • Prioritize educating everyone in the supply chain about the potential dangers of lithium-ion, including improper use conditions like storage of cell in a pocket leading to short-circuit, over-current, and so on.
