Totally new foods should be offered in the morning. Sometimes your baby’s tummy will react to a new ingredient and you want any digestive upset to wear off before you put them down for the night.

Breastfed babies tend to be more accepting of solids in the evening, because mom’s milk supply naturally wanes throughout the day which helps with your little one’s appetite.

Whatever time you choose, it’s best to make sure you aren’t in a rush and can totally focus on this special time. Your baby is absorbing everything at this stage, including the importance of mealtime as a social activity. Make sure you're having fun and enjoying it!
