When you use Livble, we pay your monthly dues to your community upfront. You then repay Livble through scheduled installment payments, which are debited from your linked bank account.
💳 Can I Use a Debit or Credit Card?
No. Livble does not accept debit or credit cards.
To split your monthly dues, you must link a personal bank account through Plaid.
We recommend linking all bank accounts you’re comfortable with potentially being debited from. This helps:
Reduce the risk of failed payments due to insufficient funds
Provide a more complete picture of your financial activity for eligibility assessments
Allow backup debit attempts if needed
All repayments — including your first installment, remaining installments, the $10 fee, and any applicable fees — are processed via ACH (bank transfer).
🔒 Why Doesn’t Livble Accept Cards?
Livble currently supports bank-account (ACH) repayments only. Debit and credit cards aren’t supported because ACH helps us:
Confirm account ownership during sign-up and repayment (via Plaid)
Reduce fraud and unauthorized payment risk, especially around chargebacks and disputed card transactions
Keep repayment processing consistent across installment schedules
Avoid card-network constraints that can create repayment reversals, partial payments, or additional handling requirements
Because of this, card payments aren’t available right now — and Support can’t manually accept card payments either.
✅ How to Avoid Payment Issues
To prevent failed payments or returned payment fees:
Keep enough funds in your linked bank account
Make sure your bank account(s) stay connected
Remember ACH payments process on business days
If a payment is returned due to insufficient funds, a $25 returned payment fee may apply.
📌 Important
All Livble payments must come from a linked bank account.
Support cannot manually process card payments.
You’re responsible for ensuring funds are available at the time of debit.
