Slices are an advanced version of clips. Right now they contain the video clip and transcript. In the near future, this will contain other data to understand the game state, including event logs, device diagnostics, and input data.
You can customize lengths with corresponding hotkeys or use clicks to ensure precise capture. Right now they contain the video clip and transcript.
Create and manage slice triggers under settings
In settings, you can access and manage your slice triggers
- Hover over the three dots in the top right corner and click on settings 
- Click slice triggers located on the left side bar 
- You will notice you already have one slice trigger; this is your default 
- Click the + New Slice Trigger button to create a new slice 
- Name your slice, adjust the length, and assign a hotkey (optional) 
- Save 
*When you hover over a slice trigger you’ve created you’ll notice three vertical dots. Here is where you can edit your slice, make your slice the default slice, or delete your slice altogether.

Create a slice using the hotkeys and clicks you’ve created.

- Type your specific hotkey trigger while watching your video to create an instant capture 
Create a slice using a click
- Click on the slices icon in the video playback bar to view your slice options 
- Click on the slice trigger you’d like to capture

- Click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner 
- Edit and save your slice trigger 
Viewing slices you’ve created
All your slices will be saved in your library.
