The CAN-SPAM Act is the leading act prohibiting spamming from commercial entities. It makes it illegal for businesses to send unwanted text messages to cell phone numbers and requires that any commercial message be easily identifiable by the receiver as an advertisement.

Consumers must also be able to unsubscribe from receiving messages. For this reason, we always keep track of those customers who respond "STOP", "Unsubscribe", etc., and remove them from ever being messaged again.
