What to do if the ticket scanning app is not working

If you are having trouble with the ticket scanning app, first check that you have downloaded the app according to Liveto's instructions: Liveto Scanning App Guide.

Then, verify the following:

  • Check for Old App Usage: Make sure you are not using Liveto's old scanning app, as it will no longer function after January 16, 2024.

  • Internet Connection: Ensure that your device has a working internet connection.

  • Scanner Settings: Confirm that the scanner settings are correctly configured, including that the event has been added to the settings and the validity period has not expired.

  • Permissions: Verify that you have granted all necessary permissions to the app, such as access to the phone's camera.

  • QR Code Reading: If the app is having trouble reading the QR code, try moving the phone's camera closer to or farther from the QR code, or adjust the angle at which you are scanning.

  • Direct Sunlight: If you are scanning the QR code in direct sunlight, try moving the ticket to a shaded area.

  • iOS Device Issues: Some iOS devices may have issues with screen auto-rotation. Try locking or unlocking the screen rotation and adjusting the device angle while scanning.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, try the following:

  • Restart Your Phone: Reboot your phone to refresh the system.

  • Restart the App: Close the scanning app and reopen it. Log out and then log back in.

  • Reinstall the App: If the problem persists, uninstall the app and download it again.
