Access control settings

Access control allows you to define who can access the event or its various sections. Access control can be simple, such as allowing all ticket holders access to the virtual platform. In more complex cases, access management can restrict rights per page and ticket type. It can also set access control for scanners. For complex cases, we recommend contacting your Liveto representative or customer service at asiakaspalvelu@liveto.io.

Access control instances

  • General Settings

    • Create New – Create a new access management instance.

    • Access control name – The name of the access management instance, which is internal to the system and not visible to customers.

    • Access control products – Products to which this access management is applied.

  • Live

    • Product – The product for which access management is handled.

    • Access control type – Determines how many times the product can be scanned. "Strict" allows only one scan, "Loose" allows multiple scans, and "Custom" lets you set your preferred number.

  • Virtual

    • Guest List – Enter a comma-separated list of emails that bypass the access management. This can be used, for example, for events where company personnel can enter for free. It also means that individuals accessing via a direct virtual platform link can enter before the event starts.

    • Allow Guest Users – Choose if you want to enable guest logins. Guest users do not log in with a Liveto account but use a nickname. Some functionalities may not be available to guest users compared to registered users, and no data is collected from guest users for event analytics.
