This checklist walks you through the account maintenance you should complete each year (or at the start of your season) to keep your LMN data accurate and your account running efficiently.

When to Run this Checklist

Plan to work through this checklist once a year, typically at year-end or the start of your season. Exactly when you run it may depend on your own workflow and business cycle.


Before You Start

Some of these tasks require admin-level access to your account settings. If you can't complete a step, confirm you have the required permissions or ask your company's admin to make the change for you.


The Annual Checklist

Work through each task below. Each item includes a short description and a link to the detailed how-to when you need step-by-step guidance.

  1. Inactivate completed jobs. Clear out jobs that are finished so your active job list stays current.

  2. Renew your service estimates and jobs. Roll your recurring contracts forward for the new year. See the detailed steps in the Estimating FAQ and Jobs FAQ.

  1. Create or update your budget for the new year. Set up a fresh budget so your financial targets reflect the current year.

  2. Close or finalize open invoices. Reconcile and close out outstanding invoices before starting the new cycle.

  3. Update your schedule templates to the current year's dates. Refresh your recurring schedule templates so they reflect this year's calendar.
