What is Acorn Financing?
Acorn Financing (powered by Acorn Finance) is a financing option that lets your residential clients view estimated monthly payments and apply for a home improvement loan directly from an eligible estimate. There is no cost to you and no liability on your end for the client's financing.
How it Works
LMN displays an estimated monthly payment along with a link or QR code your client can use to apply.
Your client applies directly with Acorn Finance from the estimate.
If approved, funds go directly to your client.
You continue to bill your client as you normally would.
Eligibility Criteria
Acorn Financing displays on an estimate only when all of the following are true:
The estimate is a Standard estimate.
The estimate total falls within the supported range (approximately $1,000–$115,000 before tax).
The client is classified as Residential or Other.
The client has a complete U.S. address.
The client is in an eligible U.S. state (currently excludes MA, MD, NV, RI, VT, and WV).
Web Proposal Beta is off within Settings → Estimate Settings (Acorn does not display on web proposals).
How to Display Acorn Financing
To show Acorn Financing on an eligible estimate:
Open the estimate and go to Print Reports.
Select your report layout.
Go to the Financing section.
Uncheck Hide Acorn monthly financing.
Select Save Report Options.
Select Preview to confirm the financing option now appears.
How to hide or remove Acorn Financing
You can hide Acorn Financing with the following steps:
Open the estimate and go to Print Reports.
Go to the Financing section.
Check Hide Acorn monthly financing.
Select Save Report Options.
Troubleshooting: Acorn Isn't Showing
If Acorn Financing doesn't appear on an estimate, check each of the following:
The client's classification is set to Residential or Other, not Undefined.
The estimate total is within the supported range and not over or under the threshold.
The client is in a supported U.S. state (not MA, MD, NV, RI, VT, or WV).
The State/Province field is set to the actual state, not a township or city.
Web Proposal Beta is turned off within Settings → Estimate Settings
Availability
Acorn Financing is available for U.S. clients only. It is not currently supported on Web Proposals.
