This method to schedule a recurring job is generally used if they’ve sold one job and are in the process of converting the sold estimate to a Job and need it scheduled right away. If they don’t have many jobs to schedule at once (in which case Bulk scheduling may save time) so for example this job was sold mid-season.
Maintenance Scheduling from the Job Screen
Navigate to Jobs > Job List
Click into a Job
Click the Schedule tab.
Click the + Schedule button and select your seasonal Maintenance template. Once this is selected, it will match all your services in the job that match to your template
From here, select the appropriate tasks to each service
Click Next
Select the appropriate week day + crew for any weekly services while leaving anything on the waitlist as open. From this page, you are also able to make any edits that would deviate away from the schedule template and it will only impact this job.
Now that everything is scheduled, move into the whiteboard to review.
Move Schedule into Whiteboard
Looking at the Whiteboard: This tab is great for a daily view of where your crews are each day. In contrast, the Calendar tab is better suited for a weekly or monthly overview.
One of the highlights of the Whiteboard is the Crew Actions → Optimize Routes feature. This allows you to optimize routes for crew efficiency.
After clicking Optimize, you can still manually reorder the routes to your preference.
Don’t forget to click Reorder Future Routes once you're done - this will save the new route order permanently for future use!
