The Balances page lets you create and record balances for your drivers, vehicles, and carriers. These balances include additional payments and deductions and can be added to the settlements you'll create.

To create a new balance for your driver, vehicle, or carrier, click on the buttons on the top right.

In each case, you'll have to select the specific driver, vehicle, or carrier for which you are creating the balance and then fill out the remaining fields accordingly.

You can select Additional Pay or Deductions as Settlement Catagory. If you choose 'Deductions', an installment setup can also be added as an option if the deduction you chose requires this. You may use the Instalment Setup to enter the number of installments along with the time interval in between each installment, or you may enter the installment amount directly.

You can select the settlement type as desired. These settlement types are configurable, you can add them under the setup module. For more information on adding settlement types check our setup training manual.

Once you create and save balances, they will be listed on the Balances page for the selected entity.

The selected list will show you all the balances created along with the relevant information. You can balances created but not processed yet, you may use the Actions button to view, edit, delete, or view the history of that balance. For the processed balances you may use the Action button to view them and their histories.

This list will also give you an overview inclusive of the Pending Deductions, Pending Additional Payments, and Total Balance on the top right.
