Summary

The following new features have been added for a better customer experience:

  • Contact Number in Uber Loads

  • Reminder Email for Missing BOL

  • Scan Document Feature

  • Partner Carrier Selection for Vehicle Balance

1. Contact Number in Uber Loads

The contact number for Uber loads has now been added in the Loadboard section. Users can now contact Uber Freight using the mentioned contact number.


2. Reminder Email for Missing BOL

Users can now send a reminder to external carriers for missing BOL. A request will be sent to carriers to submit BOLs against brokered loads that have the status as completed but are missing the BOL document.

The carriers can then send the BOL via the drivers’ app or reply to the email with an attachment.

Dispatch > Loads > Missing BOL

The BOL will then appear in the load doc section of the load.


3. Scan Document Feature

Users can now scan and upload documents for loads. A scanner needs to be attached to the computer in order to scan the documents and upload them.

Dispatch > Loads > Load > Load Docs

To scan the documents, make sure that the setting is enabled from the global settings and VindaSoft SDK and Web Service have been downloaded. The link for both is provided in the settings section.


4. Partner Carrier Selection for Vehicle Balance

Users can now select the partner carriers from the ‘Payable to’ field in the vehicle balance.

Financials > Balances > New Vehicle Balance

Users can also associate an additional pay or deduction to a partner carrier from Partner Carrier Settlements.

Settlements > Settlement Management > Partner Carrier Settlement


5. Late Loads Column

A new column for Late Loads has been added to the Loads module. Any load that's current date/time is past the scheduled date/time will be displayed in the pill. All loads (regardless of status) that are past the scheduled date on load with no update will be displayed under this pill e.g. If a load should be in transit at noon, and the current time is 12:15, then it will be displayed.

The Late Loads pill has the below columns on the grid. All other columns can be added by clicking on the eye icon.

  • Event Info (Get from Location/milestone section)

  • Pickup/Delivery (showing origin and destination)

  • Location (last reported location)

  • ETA to destination

  • Next Stop Info

  • Pickup From

  • Pickup To

  • Delivery From

  • Delivery To

  • Late Reason

The Late Reson column has a list as a dropdown to select from for each load. This dropdown will consist of the following items:

  • Equipment

  • Driver Failure

  • Dispatch Error

  • Brokerage Failure

  • Theft

  • Shipper not ready

  • Shipper scheduling error

  • Shipper documentation error

  • Shipper yard issues

  • Shipper loading errors

  • Shipper previous stop delay

  • Consignee delays

  • TJX Forecasting/Scheduling

  • TJX relevant information communication

  • unknown traffic delays

  • weather/ natural disasters

  • civil unrest

  • DOT compliance

  • carrier dispatch error

  • Driver not available

  • Driver related

  • insufficient time to complete delivery

  • Mechanical breakdown
