Introduction
The LoadStop integration with FourKites is a direct ELD integration that enables carriers using the LoadStop TMS to quickly integrate and automate their tracking with any customer who uses Fourkites for their visibility platform.
Scope
LoadStop will send automated tracking updates while en route (from PU completion to delivery completion).
Key Enablement Action
The carrier's first step prior to integration is to contact the specific shippers requesting Fourkites integration to enable the process. Shipper that is using Fourkites MUST approve the carrier for Fourkites to receive the ELD information. If not approved and turned on from Fourkites side the LoadStop ELD information will not flow through to shipper.
Integration Steps
Initiate integration via Integrations tab in the main menu under Setup > Integrations. From here, the Visibility Integrations tab can be accessed. Simply add carrier, client ID, and client secret to initiate connection.
2. Once integration is complete, users must set up the integration at the customer level under Main Menu> CRM> Customers> Fourkites tab. For customers for whom they will be using fourkites, they have to set it up in their customer profile. Here they can set up the type of updates applicable for this customer and identify the “external shipper” which is the unique ID for that customer/broker/4pl within FourKites.The external shipper ID needs to be confirmed by Fourkites before adding here.
3. Ensure the unique reference number has been made available to you by the customer (this must be communicated by the carrier customer as it is the enabler to tie the truck to the load in FourKites). At time of load build, the user will enter the ref number identified by the customer into the “Customer Load/Ref/Conf” and tracking will now automatically be sent to the FourKites platform.
