Summary

The following new features have been added for a better customer experience:

  • Master Invoice

  • Customers - Rate per quantity

  • Load - Fee type as “Rate per Quantity”

  • Quantity Type - Per Pound and Per Linear Feet

  • Empty Move in Trips and Load Template

  • Customer - Check Calls

  • GL Account # for Vendors

  • Vendor Invoice#, Load#, and Terminal Fields in Create Expense

  • Column for Driver Notes in Driver Expenses

  1. Master Invoice

Users can now create a master invoice for the same customer with multiple loads.

To create the master invoice for multiple loads, the customer and booking authority must be the same for all the loads selected. Each master invoice has a unique invoice number.

Generating Master Invoice:

The invoices module has a date range filter and the customer filter to select to create a master invoice.

Once selected, the user has to select the loads to create the master invoice.

The user can click on “Create Master Invoice” to generate the master invoice.

Sending Master Invoice to the customer:

To send the master invoice to the customer, the user needs to select all the invoices manually present within a certain batch and then click on Send Master Invoice button.

A toggle of “Master Invoice” has also been added in the invoices module in order to see all the master invoices.

Configuration for Master Invoice:

In the global settings of invoices, a toggle has been added to enable the “Master Invoice” functionality. The users can also add the sequence number for master invoices just like that of the loads.

Master Invoice PDF:

The PDF file of the master invoice contains aggregated info against all the invoices that are in the master invoice.

The first page displays the Master Invoice number and the list of all the individual invoices it contains. And the rest of the pages have the regular invoices in a sequence followed by mandatory paperwork.


2. Customers - Rate Per Quantity

Rate per quantity, Quantity Type, and Max. Quantity has been added to the rate card of customers.

Main Menu > CRM > Customers > Rate Card > Add Customer Rate Card

The dropdown of Fee Type now has the following three options:

  1. Flat

  2. Per Mile

  3. Per Quantity

The Rate and Max. Quantity columns have also been added to the grid of the customer rate card.

The rate card set up here is reflected in the Load Information of the customer’s loads after they have been created. The user can then click on the Rate Card and select it.


3. Load - Fee type as “Rate per Quantity”

A new fee type “Rate per Quanitity” has been added in the loads.

Dispatch > Loads > Create new load

When the user selects the “Per Quantity” option in the fee type, the fields of Unit Rate, Quantity, and Quantity Type appear as well.

Qty, Unit Rate, and Qty Type Columns have also been added in the grid of Loads, Dispatch Manager, LTL Trips, and Trips.

They are also visible on the Invoice PDF.


4. Quantity Type - Pound and Per Linear Feet

New options for Quantity Type, Pound and Linear Feet have been added. They will appear in the dropdown for selecting the quantity type.

Qty, Qty Type, and Unit Rate fields have also been added in Load Templates as well.


5. Empty Move in Trips and Load Template

An Empty Move button has now been added to LTL Trips and Load Template.

Empty Move in LTL Trips:

When a user adds an Empty Move in the LTL trip it will be added as the last stop.

The user will not be able to change the order of the Emtpy move from the Edit Stop button. Empty Move will be locked.

Empty Move in Load Template:

Once the template is created, if a user wants to edit it and add or remove the empty move in the template, they are able to do it as well.


6. Customer - Check Calls

Users can now enter a Time for Check Calls in the customer profile.

Main Menu > CRM > Customers > Customer profile > EDI/API/Email > Send Customer Notification > Send Check Calls

When the user turns on the toggle for Send Check Calls, a dropdown will appear with two options, Based on Time and Based on Interval.

Based on Time:

When selecting "Based on Time", another dropdown appears with "Time Slots" depending on 1 to 4, whatever number of slots are chosen, open entry fields appear. Each open entry field is a slot where the user can manually enter the time to send the check calls. All the slots are time-based entries only and will be replicated daily.

Based on Interval:

When selecting "Based on Interval" two more fields will appear, one for "Start Time" which is an open entry field and then another dropdown "Select Automatic Interval" where the interval can be selected.

For Example: If the time entered is 7 AM, then the interval will be set with respect to that time onwards.


7. GL Account # for Vendors

Users can now enter a GL Account # while setting a vendor up under setup.

Main Menu > Setup > Vendors > Create new vendor


8. Vendor Invoice#, Load#, and Terminal Fields in Create Expense

The users are now able to add the Vendor Invoice Number, Terminal name, and Load number against the expense they create.

Main Menu > Financial > Expenses> Create new expense


9. Column for Driver Notes in Driver Expenses

If the driver enters a note against an expense while submitting it from the mobile app. That note should be visible in the Driver Submissions > Driver Expense section.

The user is able to view the Driver Notes before and after the approval of the expense.
