Overview

Allocating Loan Applications to users requires a combination of Statuses, Sub-statuses and Application Roles to provide visibility and loan processing capabilities.

A combination of Statuses and Sub-statuses is used to determine the application stage in process. For example and application can be allocated the:

  1. Sub-status = Open; and

  2. Status = Application Waiting

The combination of Status and Sub-status determined which users the application can be allocated to for processing based on user's Application Roles.

Managing Application Status and Sub-status

Each sub-status is assigned to a Primary Status which can be accessed and managed by navigating to 1) Account 2) Setup 3) Application status setup.

The page loads to 'Application status setup', where you are able to view all the Primary Statuses and their associated Sub-statuses.

Sub-statuses can be edited by clicking the pen icon (1).

New Sub-stauses can be added by clicking the blue '+ Add' button (2)

When adding or editing a Sub-status, a pop-up will present and the Name and Description will need to be provided.

Application Roles

Application roles determine what actions a user can perform on a Loan Application.

CHNL is pre-set with a number of Application Roles, however these can be modified, changed or added to at any time.

Note: Application Roles are not to be confused with User Roles (Permission Groups) which determine role based security (permission & access).

To modify the Application Roles, navigate to 1) Account 2) Setup 3) Application status setup.

From this screen, you can modify Roles for Application Statuses. Click on Roles to navigate to Application Roles.

You can select a pre-determined Application Role from the drop down.

1) The Primary Statuses that the Role has Loan Application permissions for can be selected; and

2) The Sub-status permissions can also be set

Make sure to Save any changes you make.

You can also add new Application Roles by pressing Add.
