BNZ - How to Add Existing Properties

Learn how to enter properties that you already own.

Overview

Existing Properties are property assets that are already owned by the Applicant(s) at the time of application. You can enter as many Existing Properties as required.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1:

To add information on Existing Properties, click on the Current Situation tab.

The Existing Properties menu icon should be highlighted.

Step 2:

Click on Add Property Asset.

Now you are offered the choices of property asset:

  • Residential

  • Rural

  • Commercial

  • Industrial

Step 3:

Assume that your first property is a Residential Real Estate Property; select that option.

You are required to complete all mandatory fields. To add a new address, you need to click on the little + icon which will trigger a window to open, like so:

Use the search engine to type in the address. Once selected, Loanapp calls out to Google for a search on the property which allows for a verification of a correct address input. 

Step 4:

Complete information on the Existing Property as well as the Property Details until there are zero messages and you see a green "thumbs up".

Step 5:

You may add as many properties as required, under any of the property types.

Assume that the client also has a Commercial Real Estate Property, return to Existing Property and add Commercial Real Estate Property.

Step 6:

A new Commercial Real Estate Property will appear on the right hand page menu.

Note: All fields in red are mandatory fields and must be completed.

Step 7:

You have now successfully added the details for Existing Properties, as indicated by the green 'thumbs up' to the right of all the Existing Properties sections.

Repeat this process as many times as required, until all existing properties have been listed.
