How to launch Loanapp in FLEX - and more about data syncing.

Loanapp is fully integrated with FLEX, with synchronised data transfer - data goes both from FLEX to Loanapp, and back again.

Loanapp is integrated in FLEX as a great new lodgement tool. You will find the "Lodge via Loanapp" button appear when you have selected a Lender who is supported by Loanapp, and you have promoted your opportunity to an application is FLEX:

When you click on "Lodge via Loanapp", the first thing you will see is the Landing page of Lender you are submitting to, and FLEX will gather up all your data for this application and transfer it across to Loanapp:

When you get into Loanapp, you will be presented with the application form, pre-filled with your data. For an article that takes you through the layout of Loanapp and it's functionality, click here.

 About Data Synchronisation

The integration between FLEX and Loanapp is very 'tight'. Not only does all data that you have entered into FLEX transfer across to the corresponding fields in Loanapp; but all the data that you then enter into Loanapp is transferred back into FLEX when you close down Loanapp. This is great from a compliance perspective - you can ensure what you have submitted to the lender is properly recorded in FLEX.

There are a few things to remember though, to ensure the data sync is successful:

1. Always close down Loanapp using the "Save and Close" button.

The "Save and Close" button is in the top right of each page; or in the FILE menu. If you close Loanapp by simply closing your browser, the sync and save process will not be triggered and you will risk losing your data or locking your application

2. We have to ensure the Loanapp data will pass FLEX validation rules.

For the save back to FLEX process to be successful, we have to make sure that the data that Loanapp is trying to insert back into FLEX is 'valid' according to FLEX data rules. To make sure this is the case, when you click "Save and Close", Loanapp gathers up all your data and runs a FLEX validation test against it.

In most cases, your Loanapp data will be valid against FLEX rules, and Loanapp will close down and you won't need to do anything else.

If your Loanapp data is not valid against FLEX rules, a message will pop up to that effect:

Click on this message, and you will be notified of any extra data you need to complete to ensure the Save to FLEX process will be successful. Make the necessary changes, and then click "Save and Close" again to finalise the close process.
