Overview

Loanapp's Backchannel functionality allows you to stay up-to-date with the lender's progress on your application assessment progress - saving you time from enquiring directly with them. Follow the below easy steps to learn how.

Launch your desired application. 

Once it's open, you'll notice a yellow message displaying Edit Restrictions and indicating that the application has been submitted. You'll now need to click on File, up in the top left-hand corner.

In the menu on the left, click on Backchannel to see the latest updates/requests from the lender on your application:

There is an 'Expand all/Collapse all' button up in the right-hand corner, allowing you to see a bigger break down of all the messages from the lender. Or alternatively, you can click on the little arrow to the left to see an expanded version of that specific message:
