Tip: Loanapp functions best in Chrome or Firefox so try to be using these browsers when using myCRM (rather than Internet Explorer)

Overview

Loanapp is a new lodgement tool for mortgage submissions. You can launch Loanapp directly from myCRM and transfer myCRM data across to your loan application. The application that you complete in Loanapp is submitted directly into the lender's loan processing system, which makes the whole loan assessment process faster.

Loanapp is configured with the lenders' exact data requirements and products so that you can be sure you are submit ting a ready-to-process application that has everything the lender needs.

Loanapp's user experience designed to make finalising your application faster and easier; and all the functionality that you need to complete a loan submission like auto-populated Application Forms, fast and easy supporting docs upload, and built in serviceability.

This is a guide on how to complete a Loan Application through Loanapp, submit it to the lender, generate serviceability, supporting docs checklists, lender print forms and upload supporting docs.

If you need help at any time, you can live chat from within Loanapp (see details below); or send an email anytime to support@simpology.com.au

Launching Loanapp - for a new application submission

Complete a Loan Application Opportunity in myCRM as you normally do.
If you have chosen a lender that is supported by Loanapp, you will have a new Submission Method option in the "Lender Submission" section called Simpology. Click on the Simpology method (it will then get a tick):

Click on Submit electronically to (Lender) via Loanapp:

A new page will start opening - the first thing you will see is the 'landing page' of the lender you are submitting to via Loanapp. At this time, Loanapp is extracting all the data out of your myCRM application and auto-populating the matching fields in Loanapp with your data:

When Loanapp has completed 'creating' your application, it will open up, completed with all the your data from myCRM populated into Loanapp:

If there is data missing that you still need to complete that the lender requires to process the loan, you can tell by going to the sections with red bells in them:

There is an extensive number of articles in the help centre that take you through the Loanapp functionality in more detail. A good one to start with is the Loanapp User Guide.

Closing Loanapp

To close Loanapp and go back into myCRM, you should click on your name in the top right and click "Close Application":

Do not close by clicking the X to close the browser. Loanapp has auto-save every few minutes, but if you simply close the window this may not save your more recent data input. When you close Loanapp you will see this message (this is a normal browser screen):

Re-opening Loanapp from myCRM (on an application you have already been working on)

If you have already created a Loanapp record for your myCRM application, its important to note that when you want to re-open Loanapp to continue working on it, you will be presented with two different buttons:

It is important to understand the data implications of each of these buttons.

Overwrite in Loanapp

If you select "Overwrite in Loanapp", Loanapp will re-launch and be populated again with all the data you have in your myCRM application. This means if you have previously launched Loanapp and worked on the application by adding data in Loanapp, this previously-saved Loanapp record will be overwritten, and you will lose the data you entered into Loanapp.
You should only use this button if you have updated the data in myCRM since launching Loanapp, and you want to essentially start again on the Loanapp application by using the updated data from myCRM.

View this Application in Loanapp

If you select "View this Application in Loanapp", you will re-open the Loanapp application and the data will match the data that you most recently saved in Loanapp. ie this data will be the original myCRM transfer of data PLUS any other data you had entered into Loanapp as you completed the items that the lender needs. So Loanapp will be more complete than your myCRM record.

This is the button you should use each time you re-open Loanapp if you want to ensure you have the data you most recently saved in Loanapp.
