Overview

The ubank workflow uses a third party to digitally identify your applicants (no need to upload ID docs as Supporting Documents).

Launch Loanapp

You will notice when you launch Loanapp, the data you might have had in your CRM about the applicant's identity will be brought across.

Before Triggering Identity Verification

You will need to ensure some details about each Person Applicant has been entered into the Application before triggering Identity Verification. The ID service uses these details to complete the verification process. Details that must be completed for the service to work are:

  • Applicant Name

  • Applicant Date of Birth

  • Residency Status/Citizenship

  • Current residential address

  • Details of at least 1 proof of ID (eg passport or Drivers License)

  • Consents to allow electronic ID check

Triggering Electronic Identity Verification

To trigger the Identity Verification workflow, select Identity Verification from the File Tab and click Send Request.

Once you click Send Request you will be able to check the Applicant’s details are correct before running Identity Verification.
(note that if any required data is missing, this validation step will prompt you to add it)

If Identity Verification is successful, you will be notified in the pop-up window.

You can now close this pop-up, and the ID check is complete.

You will note when you have successfully verified your Applicants, the next step in the ubank workflow, Initiate VOI will become unlocked.

If Identity Verification fails, you should check the Person Applicant data you have entered into Loanapp is correct, and try again.
