Applicant identity requirements depend on the applicant's citizenship status. All ubank applicants must either be citizens or permanent residents.
Australian Citizen
One of the following:
Australian Passport
OR Drivers Licence and current or previous address.
OR Green Medicare Card and current or previous address.
Permanent Resident
Must provide:
Green Medicare Card and current or previous address.
Identity Check Failures
If you have an error with ID Verification, please check the following 5 points:
In the Medicare Card section: you are ONLY entering the middle name / initial IF it's on the card. NOT the full name
Applicant Names are exactly as per their ID documents
Date of Births are correct
Address is correct
Ensuring Citizen or Permanent Resident has been selected correctly
