Loanapp Info Request is a great tool to use to gather information from your applicants as you are working through their loan application. You can trigger an info request straight to them at any time - and your applicants can conveniently reply on any device with an answer to your question, or a requested supporting doc.

You can also set the branding on the Info Request so that the request is coming from you (or your brokerage brand), rather than the lender you are submitting to. (Note if you don't set the branding, any Info Requests you send will always use the lender branding).

How to set your branding.

When you are in Loanapp, you will see the Info Request icons in the top ribbon of the screen:

To set your branding, select the 'cog' icon:

A popup will appear with some instructions - have a read and then click Continue:

When you click on this, you will be taken to your profile in the Lender's Channel:

This is where you can manage your profile.

To set your branding for Info Requests, open the "Preferences and emergency contact" section:

When you open this up, scroll to section where you can upload your logos:

Click on the camera image to upload your branding for Info Request:

And do the same for Email Footer:

Then update your Trading Name which appears in the Subject Line and Footer

Be sure to SAVE at the top of your profile:

How your info requests look to your applicants

Once you have set your branding, this will mean that any Info Requests you trigger from Loanapp will be branded as coming from you, and not the lender.

When an applicant receives an email invite to Info Request, it will look like this:

When the applicant clicks on 'here' they will be taken to the login screen which again will be branded for your business:

They can then sign-in with their social logins which is easiest....or set themselves some credentials by clicking 'set or recover password'.

When they login they will see your info requests and be able to respond to them:

General rules:

  1. You only need to set your branding in a particular lender's loanapp once, and it will work properly for all applications you work on for that lender

  2. But you will need to re-set your branding in a new lender loanapp. ie the branding you set is set on that lender's channel

  3. You can always click on the cog icon at any time to reset the branding if you need to
