Term Loans and Lines of Credit (LOC) secured by property

Overview

A Mortgage Liability is a liability currently held by the Applicant/s which is secured by an existing Property. It can either be a Term Loan or a Line of Credit (LOC).

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

To add information on Mortgage Liabilities, click on the Current Situation tab.

The Mortgage Liabilities menu icon should be highlighted.

Step 2

Next, click on Add Mortgage Liabilities.

A new screen will open up.

Enter the required information by completing the red, mandatory fields

Tool Tips

You can always hover over a field name to read a Tool Tip. 

Tool Tips may assist you entering the correct information in a particular field.

Step 3

You can enter as many Mortgage Liabilities as required.

Notice the Messages dropdown menu located at the top right hand corner of the page. When all the information is complete, the number of Messages will equal zero and the green "thumbs up" will appear on both the right hand side and page men on the left.

Step 4

If you need to delete an item, return to the top level page menu, Mortgage Liabilities.

Go to the Summary section and click on the trashcan to the left of the liability that you want to remove.
