Overview

Other Income is income that is non-employment related which will affect the applicant's borrowing capacity.

Examples of Other Income include: Annuities or Dividends; Child Maintenance; Government Benefits such as Child Support; or Workers Compensation.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

To enter Other Income information, ensure you are on the Current Situation tab.

Click on the Other Income menu icon.

You will be presented with the Other Income Page Item.

Step 2

Click on Add Other Income.

Now you are offered the choices of Other Income Types to select from.

Step 3

Assume that you want to select Government Benefits, choose Government Benefits from the Income Types list.

Complete the required information.

Step 4

Notice the page menu has expanded with the selection of Government Benefits - Child Support.

Assume that the next Income Type you want to select is Child Support. Upon selection, you will be taken to the Other Income Page.

Tool Tip

You can always hover over a field name to read a Tool Tip. Tool Tips it may assist you with the data entry of that particular field.

Real Time Messages

Fields with red boxes are mandatory field.

Notice the Messages dropdown menu located at the top right hand corner of the page.

If you click on one of these messages, it will take you to the respective field for completion.

Step 5

You have successfully completed this page when there are zero Messages and there is a green "thumbs up" against that page in the page menu on the left.

You may wish to enter other Income Types.

One method of doing this is by clicking the + sign next to the Other Income page heading.

Another method of adding an additional income type, is to click on Other Income on the page menu.

Step 6

You can delete income entries from this screen view by clicking the trash can.
