Borrower or Guarantor

Person Applicants are the individuals who are applying for the loan. They may be either Borrowers or Guarantors.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

To add a Person Applicant, click on the Current Situation tab.

The Person Applicants Menu icon is highlighted and you can begin to enter your first Person Applicant.

Time Saving Tip: All information is auto-saved every time you change pages or screens, so your data is always saved.

Step 2

Next, click on Add Person Applicant.

From here, you may select the type of applicant, either Borrower or Guarantor.

Step 3

Assuming that you would like to add a Borrower applicant type, select Borrower.

Step 4

You are now presented with all the data fields required to add a Person Applicant, Borrower.

Further information is captured on the additional pages, outlined in the Page menu on the left hand side of the screen.

Real Time Messages

All red boxes are mandatory fields and must be completed.

Notice the Messages dropdown menu located at the top right hand corner of the page.

If you click on this, you will be presented with a list of fields that are mandatory and are not yet completed.

If you click on one of these messages, it will take you to the respective field for completion.

Time Saving Tip: You may select any page within the Page menu at any time to enter more information.

Step 5

You may start to enter the required information.

Given that this application is in joint names for Mr and Mrs Smith, once you select a Marital Status of Married for Mr Smith, you will be asked to add the additional Person Applicant.

Once added, you will notice that the Page menu has expanded and now contains Michelle Smith's details.

Step 6

Some fields trigger a popup box that contains a number of fields relating to that particular field. eg Household, Solicitor, Next of Kin or Accountant.

Step 7

You can continue to enter Bob Smith's details by clicking Contact Details in the Page menu and entering the required information.

Address fields are pop-ups that require additional information.

For assistance with Address Details, refer to How to add an Address.

Step 8

Notice the green 'thumbs up' to the right of Contact Details. This icon indicates that all mandatory fields have been completed within that section.

Next, click on Other Details in the Page menu and enter the required information.

Step 9

Notice the green 'thumbs up' on Contact Details and Other Details for Bob Smith, indicating that all mandatory fields have been completed on those sections.

You may now move on to entering details for the second applicant. Click on Contact Details in the Page menu and enter the required information.

Auto Save: You can safely click anywhere else in the application at any time. Auto saving takes place to ensure you never lose anything that you have input.

Step 10

Next you can click on Contact Details for the second applicant and enter the required information.

You have now successfully added two applicants: Bob and Michelle Smith.
