There is an assumption that you have already entered a Person Applicant with PAYG Employment.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

You are on the Current Situation tab, Person Applicant, Employment section.

Step 2

You can enter the Employer by either:

1) selecting a previously entered Business from the Drop Down menu

OR

2) using the Add Data button (+sign) to add a new Company

Step 3

Important Note: An Employer may either be:
 - An Applicant (Company) - an Applicant on this loan application
 - A Related Party (Company) - a 3rd party and NOT an Applicant on this loan application

For this example, assume that you select a Related Company from the Drop Down menu under Employer.

Step 4

You will be presented with a Employer pop up box.

Complete all the required fields in this pop up box. Required fields are outlined in red.

Notice the Magnifying Glass?

The Magnifying Glass indicates a web-service call. This icon appears wherever the application employs a web-service call in order to search for data to input into the application.

This example demonstrates a web-service call to the ABN Lookup (maintained by the Australian Business Register) which publishes data about company names and ABNs. Once you find the correct company from the web-service call, this information is inserted directly into the application.

Step 5

You will get a Green Thumbs up once all mandatory fields have been entered successfully.

Click OK once complete.

Step 6

You are now taken back to the Person Applicant page.

You will see your Employer has been successfully entered.

The Green Thumbs up indicates that all mandatory fields have been entered successfully.

N.B: The only time you would use Company Applicant under Employer is in the following scenarios:

  • The Company Applicant is the borrower

  • The Director of the Company Applicant is acting as guarantor

  • In this case, the Director (Person Applicant) will have a PAYG Employment record where the employer is the Company Applicant
