Learn how to enter the Assets (non real estate) for all Applicants in this video. Everything from Cars, Bikes, Caravans, Bank Accounts, Superannuation, Shares, Stock, Home and Contents and Managed Funds.
Remember that Real Estate Assets are NOT entered in this section. They are entered under Existing Properties.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1
To add Other Assets to an application, click on the Other Assets menu icon.
Click on Add Other Asset.
Step 2
There are several Other Asset options to choose from.
You may choose, and enter, as many Other Assets as required.
For this example, we will assume that the applicant has a Financial, Motor Vehicle & Transport and Business Asset.
Step 3
Select Financial Asset and the Cash option.
Step 4
Selecting the Financial Asset, Cash option reveals new fields for completion.
Complete all the red, mandatory fields.
Notice the page menu has expanded with the selection of Financial Asset - Cash.
Real Time Messages
Notice the Messages dropdown menu located at the top right hand corner of the page.
If you click on this, you will be presented with a list of fields which are mandatory and have not yet been completed.
If you click on one of these messages, it will take you to the respective field for completion.
Time Saving Tip
You may select any page within the page menu at any time to enter more information.
Step 5
To enter another asset, return to the Other Asset page menu.
Next click Add Other Asset and select the appropriate asset type.
For this example, the applicant has a boat and it will be listed under Motor Vehicle & Transport, Watercraft.
Step 6
Complete the required fields.

To enter another asset, return to the Other Asset page menu.
Next click Add Other Asset and select the appropriate asset type.
For this example, the applicant also has a business and it will be listed under Business Asset.
Step 8
You have successfully completed this section when there are zero Messages and there is a green "thumbs up" in the page menu.
You can also easily reference a list of the entered assets via the Summary Page.
