Overview

You will come across a number of icons when completing applications in Loanapp.

Below is a picture of each icon and an explanation of what it means.

Progress Icons

RED BELL

The Red Bell icon signifies that the section is not complete.

Either data is missing or the data that has been entered is not acceptable to the Lender's validation rules.

The Red Bell tells you that work is still required on that section prior to submission.

ORANGE BELL

The Orange Bell icon signifies that the section is not complete and could require additional but not mandatory data in that section.

For example, this bell will be displayed if you haven't entered in any Assets for your applicant. It is a simple reminder for you to enter Assets in case you've forgotten. If there are no Assets to be entered, you can simply ignore and continue to submit.

THUMBS UP

The green Thumbs Up icon signifies that the section is complete.

The Thumbs Up tells you that no more work is required on that section.

PADLOCK

When a piece of information is locked, the Padlock icon will be shown.

This icon appears wherever data has been added to an application from a third party source. Because the data was added by a third party source, it is locked and cannot be changed.

Functionality Icons

PLUS SIGN

A Plus Sign is the Add Data icon.

This icon appears wherever another window or section can be opened in which to add further data.

A good example of this, is an address field. The Add Data icon can be selected to open up the address 'resource' to complete the address details.

For an explanation of resources, please refer to Key Terms - What is a Resources?

PENCIL

A Pencil icon is shown when you can Edit Data.

This icon appears wherever you can open up another window or section to edit data.

If you have already completed the data in a resource, you can use the Edit Data icon to re-open the window and edit.

BINOCULARS

The Binoculars is an External List Search icon.

This icon appears wherever the application allows you to search and select data from an external list.

A good example of an External List is the Australian Bureau of Statistics Occupation Code List.

MAGNIFYING GLASS

The Magnifying Glass stands for a Web-Service Call. This icon appears wherever the application employs a web-service call in order to enable a search for data to input into the application.

A good example of a web-service call is the ABN Lookup which calls the Australian Business Register (ABR) to access data about companies. Once you find the correct company from the web-service call, this information is inserted directly into the application.

CALENDAR

The Calendar ion appears wherever the field requires a date to be entered.

If you click on this icon, a calendar will appear and you can select the appropriate date to be populated into the field.

TRASHCAN

The Trashcan icon is visible in the top right corner Loanapp wherever an extra data element has been added to the application.

An example of this type of 'extra data elements' is where a New Loan Purpose has been added. The Trashcan icon forms part of this 'extra data element' so that this addition can be easily erased if needed.

SQUARE WITH ARROW

A rounded corner square with an arrow pointing out of the top right corner is a Web Reference ion and appears wherever a web address has entered in a field.

If you click on this icon, the web address it references will automatically open in a new window.
