A Yelp review integration requires uploading each location's public URL in the pop-up window with each new URL as its own line.

The Yelp URL of a restaurant called The Dearborn: https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-dearborn-chicago-2

  1. Go to your Profile Settings (blue wrench in the bottom left corner) and navigate to the Integrations tab on the left,

  2. Click on the Yelp icon and for new integrations, begin adding the URLs in the box. For existing connections, locate the 'Add Location' in the top right corner and begin adding the URLs in the box.

  3. Once all URLs have been added, use the blue Add button to complete the process.

Adding a Back Office ID

To improve the workflow of responding to reviews, users can include the back office location ID associated with their location pages. This ID, while not required, allows users to quickly jump to that location's Yelp for Business Owner dashboard directly from the ReviewsInbox™.

Your back office ID appears as the alphanumeric code at the end of your Yelp Business URL when logged into your Yelp account on the main platform. For instance, if the Yelp Business URL is https://biz.yelp.com/home/N2R1JSuYkg_vjNSD5QgD3w/, the back office ID would then be: N2R1JSuYkg_vjNSD5QgD3w

For adding/updating 20 or more locations, please send a file (text, CSV, Excel or equivalent) of all Yelp location URLs to support@localclarity.com.

The support team will reach back to you within one business day to confirm receipt. It may take several minutes to complete the initial fetch and for larger accounts up to a couple of hours.

Responding to Yelp Reviews

The Back Office ID allows for users to go from Local Clarity to the back office of your company's Yelp account, closing the gap between review and response management.

From the ReviewsInbox™, identify the Yelp review.

Clicking Reply will pop open a new browser tab populated with the back office review management page for the specific Yelp location. (Accounts without a Back Office ID will be directed to the public location page.)

Using Explore! for Yelp Reviews

We have tried to make it easy for users to leverage the benefits of the Explore! review response workflow by making it easy to craft and then copy the custom response before opening the Yelp tab.

In the review detail section, hit the Explore! link to trigger all of the event reviews for the location and the established set of templates or snippets.

Once you have the perfect response, click "Copy". You can then close the window and then click the "Reply" button. You'll be able to past the response directly into the Yelp response text box.

Tracking Agency Response Times? Use "Mark Responded"

The LocalClarity platform will index the response in our overnight processing. If you want to identify the exact time for a review response, you can simply mark the review as replied.

These reviews will hold the timestamp so that you can directly compare response times for reviews across sources.
