Another great question posted in a forum from an agency that is worried that having different phone numbers posted on different directory websites for a business might cause issues with SEO.

"Does anyone know if there are negative SEO implications of doing either full-blown number replacement or dynamic number replacement (DNI) on a local directory site?"

The responses from industry experts were uniform in their opinion.

"I haven't seen any evidence that dynamic phone number replacement has any negative impacts on Local SEO."

"I have seen lots of attorneys are using specific tracking phone numbers with AVVO without losing the ranking specifically due this reason."

"There will be no SEP impact for you if you use dynamic phone numbers for tracking nor is there likely to be for the business."
