Time management is vital in online ordering to manage your team, provide fresh products, and keep your customers happy. You may be wondering what's the soonest time slot your customers can place orders at. It's really easy to calculate, and here's how it works on Local Express.

1. Navigate to the Operation from the left sidebar.

2. Expand the Delivery menu and select the store which you need to configure.

3. Scroll down, insert the Approximate Preparation Time in minutes, and click Save.

Note: The approximate preparation time is the average period your team needs to collect orders and prepare meals.

Here's how the nearest time window is calculated:

For Pickup orders: current time + approximate preparation time

For Delivery orders: current time + approximate preparation time + 15 minutes

The system calculates these and sets the nearest time window first. Learn more about how to set time windows here.
