Using the Localyser App – User Mode

User Mode is designed for store managers and employees to read, respond to, and manage customer feedback and messages.

🏠 Dashboard Overview

When you log in to the Localyser app, you’ll land on the Dashboard, where all recent customer reviews are displayed.

🔍 Filters & Search

  • Tap the filters icon (top right) to filter reviews by:

    • Location

    • Date

    • Source

    • Sentiment, and more.

  • Tap the search icon (top right) to search:

    • Keywords from review content

    • Reviewer names

This helps you quickly find the feedback you’re looking for.


💬 Responding to Reviews

To respond to a review:

  1. Tap on the review to open it.

  2. Select a template from available categories (you can switch between categories).

  3. Or, write a custom response.

  4. Tap Send.

🧠 AI-Powered Responses (Premium Feature)

For text-based reviews, users on premium plans will see an AI Response option. The AI will:

  • Generate a response tailored to the review content.

  • Offer tone selection (e.g., friendly, professional, apologetic).

📲 SMS Replies (for Feedback Reviews)

If:

  • The client has entered their phone number, and

  • Kiosk mode is enabled for your account,

    You will have the option to send an SMS reply directly from the review response screen.


✉️ Messaging with Customers

After you respond to a review, the conversation can continue in the Messages tab.

  • Tap any conversation to view the message history.

  • You can:

    • Send replies.

    • Attach offers/coupons via the 📎 attachment icon.

🎁 Sending Offers

To send a coupon:

  1. Open the client’s conversation.

  2. Tap the 📎 attachment icon.

  3. Select Add Offer, then choose the coupon you'd like to send.

✅ Managing Conversations

You can organize conversations into:

  • Unresolved

  • Resolved

To mark as resolved:

  • Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the conversation.

  • Select Mark as Resolved.

  • Or choose Mark as Unread to revisit later.

Tap the profile icon next to the three dots to view customer details (name, phone number, email).


📊 Reports

Tap the Reports tab to view performance insights.

Review Report

  • Average rating

  • Number of reviews

  • Sentiment analysis

  • Response rate

  • Filters: by date and location

Feedback Report

Switch to the Feedback tab at the top of the Reports screen to view:

  • Feedback review stats

  • Sentiment breakdown

  • Response rate for feedback reviews


👤 Profile & Settings

In the Profile tab, you’ll find:

  • Your name and email

  • Settings access

Settings Menu Includes:

  • Theme: Choose light mode, dark mode, or default.

  • Kiosk Exit Instructions

  • Push Notifications: Enable or disable as needed.

🔁 Switch to Kiosk Mode

From your profile:

  1. Tap Switch to Kiosk Mode

  2. Confirm selection

  3. Choose your store location

You’ll then enter Kiosk Mode, where customers can leave reviews directly. Learn more about the Kiosk Mode here


💡 Tip: Check your Dashboard, Reviews, and Messages regularly to stay on top of customer engagement.
