Within the Locomote Corporate Booking Platform, you will come across different 'roles' or 'types' of people who will oversee your trip at various stages, depending on the type of process or workflow your company has implemented.
Each of these role types plays a key part and understanding what the roles are and why they exist, will ensure you know who is looking after your itinerary at a particular stage of the booking process.
Traveller
The Traveller role is designated to a low or base level user. Depending on the company configuration, a traveller can organise their own travel or they can have their travel arranged on their behalf (refer to Travel Arranger.) They can also view and cancel trip requests. They are the end-user of the Locomote platform, where they can also update their own profile information.
Travel Arranger
The role appointed by the Company Administrator, to a person or group of persons who have the responsibility to arrange travel on behalf of travellers. They can create, view and cancel trip requests and often works closely with the Travel Management Company (TMC) or agency, to ensure the travel arrangements for the traveller are correct. The Travel Arranger has a higher level of access and can also manage their assigned traveller's profiles.
Cost Authoriser
The role appointed by the Company Administrator, to a person or group of persons, who have the ability to approve, decline or forward authorisations (onto another authoriser) when the travel workflow involves the cost/financial approval. Generally this will be appointed to the Finance/Accounting department of a company to ensure the company can afford to send their employees on a business trip.
Risk Authoriser
The role appointed by the Company Administrator, to a person or group of persons, who have the ability to approve, decline or forward authorisations (onto another authoriser) when the travel workflow involves the risk approval. The 'risk' is defined as a high level of travel risk for the traveller.

The role appointed by the Company Administrator, to a person or group of persons, who have the ability to approve, decline or forward authorisations (onto another authoriser) when the travel workflow requires an approval process prior to moving on in the booking process.
Travel Consultant
A Travel Consultant is usually a consultant within a Travel Management Company (TMC) or agency who looks after every aspect of a traveller's booking. They manage quotes, can discuss and cancel trip requests. They are responsible for the ticketing of itineraries and have the ability to make offline (not in the Locomote platform) changes to trip requests.
Company Administrator
The Administrator is one or more person(s) assigned the highest permissions within the company. Their responsibilities include managing company data, managing the employee profiles, managing workflows, modules and assigning roles to the appropriate people. They can also create, edit and cancel trips for other traveller's if needed.
