It's 2018 and when someone says the word "notifications", the first thing that comes to mind is "phone," ie. turn on app notifications. And when we're on our phones for a good portion of the day, notifications are a handy medium to communicate reminders, notes or prompts.
The same can be said for the Locomote Corporate Travel Platform with the in-application notifications that can be customised and toggled on by the Company Administrator.
With Trip Notifications in Locomote, you can set rules to send email notifications to specified email addresses, based on where a traveller may be travelling to (ie. a specific country) and by the trip state.
Create a Trip Notification
Click on the user Avatar and select Admin to access the Admin home page
Click on Trip Notifications on the left-hand panel of the navigation bar
To create a new Trip Notification, click on Create a new Rule
Fill out the parameters for the New Rule window, including name, trip status, country/city, contact email address(es) and comments if applicable.
Once completed, click Save
A green notification banner will appear stating "Trip notification was successfully created."
When a trip is made in relation to the rule, an email will be sent to the recipient(s) as listed.
Edit a Trip Notification
Click on the user Avatar and select Admin to access the Admin home page
Click on Trip Notifications on the left-hand panel of the navigation bar
To edit an existing Trip Notification, click on Edit next to the rule that needs to be changed
Make the appropriate changes to the name, trip status, country/city, email address(es) or comments and review
Once you're happy with the changes, click Save
A green notification banner will appear stating "Trip notification was successfully updated."
Delete a Trip Notification
Click on the user Avatar and select Admin to access the Admin home page
Click on Trip Notifications on the left-hand panel of the navigation bar
To delete an existing Trip Notification, click on Delete Rule next to the rule that needs to be removed
Three buttons will appear after clicking on Delete Rule. Click Edit to edit the rule instead of deleting the rule altogether; Click Confirm to proceed with the deletion or click Cancel to back out of deleting the notification. To proceed, click Confirm
Once the rule has been deleted, it will disappear in real-time from the listing
