If you're experiencing issues like slow performance, missing features, or glitches in the Log Ninja app, this guide will help you resolve them quickly by:

  • Clearing your phone's cache

  • Ensuring your app is up to date

What is Cache?

Cache is temporary data stored on your device to help apps load faster. Over time, this data can become outdated or corrupted, causing issues.

Clearing the cache for specific apps can help resolve performance issues, free up storage, and fix problems like crashes or slow loading times without affecting your app data.

You should consider clearing the app’s cache when experiencing:

  • Slow app performance

  • Login issues

  • Features not working properly

How to Clear Cache on Android Devices πŸ€–

You can clear either the app cache or the system cache.

Option 1: Clear the Log Ninja app cache

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Select Apps or Apps & Notifications.

  3. Locate and select Log Ninja.

  4. Tap Storage.

  5. Tap Clear Cache.

Option 2: Clear the system cache (may vary by device)

  1. Power off the device.

  2. Press and hold Power and Volume Up to enter Recovery Mode.

How to Clear Cache on iOS Devices 🍎

Apple does not allow users to clear the system cache directly. However, you can manage app cache using the following options:

Option 1: Offload the App

  1. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.

  2. Select Log Ninja.

  3. Ensure Offload App is enabled.

  4. Tap Offload App.

  5. Confirm by tapping Offload App again.

Notes:

  • Offloading removes the app but retains its documents and data. Reinstalling the app restores it with your saved data.

  • This clears some app cache and frees storage space, but it does not remove all data.

  • Delete App will remove the app and all related cache/data. Reinstalling will not restore saved data.

Option 2: Delete and Reinstall the App

  1. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.

  2. Select Log Ninja.

  3. Tap Delete App.

  4. Confirm by tapping Delete again.

  5. To reinstall, download the app from the App Store.

Option 3: Clear Safari Cache

  1. Go to Settings > Safari.

  2. Tap Clear History and Website Data.
